Good words for a Great Week

Dr George AyeeRECREATING YOUR WORLD (part 2)

The Power of Belief

Belief is the content of one’s conviction on a matter; confidence in or reliance upon the truth of a matter. It also means to trust in, to hold a firm conviction about, to accept as true, genuine, or real. Genesis 15:6 says, “Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.” In Mark 9:23 Jesus said, that if you can, “Everything is possible for him who believes.” 2 Corinthians 5:7 says, “We live by faith not by sight.”

The Power of Words/Declaration

When you compare the account of creation in Genesis chapter one with that in Genesis chapter two, you will come to the conclusion that after God had spoken creation into being, He went ahead to make and form it. After God had spoken to Abraham and Abraham believed God, he went on calling himself “Father of many” (Abraham) and calling his wife “Mother of Princes” (Sarah), even though they had no children. Well eventually, according to the Word of God and their continued declaration, they had a child – Isaac – and became the father and mother of many.

You cannot defeat Goliath or recreate your world with your mouth shut! We all have challenges, enemies or giants in our lives that need to be removed or defeated. David’s example shows us how we should approach the circumstances, the issues, the challenges and situations of our own lives. We must open our mouth and speak the Word of God. David prophesized the end result from the beginning of the event. God does the same thing according to His Word. So after you have spoken the WORD to change your circumstances, after meditating, the “word seed” has to be watered to grow. Quit complaining and start ‘watering your clouds.’ The situation may not change overnight, but the Word would certainly prosper in that for which it has been sent. You may ask the question: For how long do you have to “water your clouds”? For as long as it takes for the cloud to be full and to pour down the rain! You don’t have to wait for the circumstances to look okay before you speak. In fact it’s when they’re not that you speak the more. Ecclesiastes 11:4,6 says, “Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap. Sow your seed in the morning and at evening let not your hands be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.”

So when things look okay and when they don’t, at all times, water your clouds! Start sowing the right seeds and keep watering them with your confessions and you will surely reap the right fruits.

The Power of Prayer

Prayer is important; it not only serves as communication with God in terms of fellowship, but it also affects your life in many other ways. Prayer can shape a person’s future. It will determine the kind of things that will happen or will not happen in a person’s life. This is why it is important to learn to pray effective prayers that achieve results. Prayer is important. If you really want to bring God into your situation, you have to pray. And when you pray, something happens to you. Every time you want an idea, you’ll get it on your knees in prayer. It’s during that time your spiritual eyes are open and you begin to see. Then God can communicate with you through your creative spirit and something will come through. God will always give an idea. This is the key to all the things you want. So an idea from God is all you really need. With that idea, you can be; with that idea, you can get; and with that idea you can have.
Do you want to achieve your goals? Then make up your mind! Through prayer, you can effectively change your life. You can get what you want. Spend time in prayer, don’t wander around looking for somebody who will tell you what to do and how to do it. You are a child of God so take time to pray and God will tell you what to do. He will give you an idea. No matter what you are going through in life, take time to pray.

The Power of Visualization

Mark 5:25-29 says, “And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, ‘If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.’” Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. This lady kept painting this picture through visualization of herself made whole in her mind. And the desire to be healed, which had been birthed in her, continued to grow. With her imagination she created a new picture of herself in her mind. You see the Word of God works every time. You can recreate your world. God has put in you every quality that you need in this world to be who He has determined you to be, but it depends on you and what you want. Make up your mind not to waste your time. Don’t be a drifter in life. The future is here and it belongs to you. Whatever you want to do will work as long as you set your heart upon it. It will happen. Your dreams will come through. You must have a testimony in your mouth and a song on your lips because God has done for you what you wanted Him to do.
